HO CHI MINH CITY， Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- VN-Index， the stock market index of Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City bourse in south Vietnam， closed at 665.92 points on Thursday， up 0.78 points， or 0.12 percent， against the previous trading day's closing session.
About 126.549 million shares worth 2.361 trillion Vietnamese dong (VND) (106.68 million U.S. dollars) changed hands at the southern HCM City Stock Exchange. Prices of 121 stocks went up， 115 stocks fell down， while 56 stocks remained unchanged.
VN30-Index， the new benchmark index for the southern bourse， which tracks the 30 leading stocks by both market capitalization and liquidity， closed at 613.25 points， down 2.01 points， or 0.33 percent.
A total of 60.090 million shares worth 1.249 trillion VND (56.45 million U.S. dollars) were traded on Thursday.

WELLINGTON, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Renters and poorer families in New Zealand are much more likely to say it is hard to keep warm than those who own their own homes or earn more money, the country's statistics department Stats NZ said on Friday.
